As a small child growing up in the piney woods of Northeast Texas, on the land of her Great Grandfather, Nikimbre has always felt a deep connection to plants and nature. A naturalist and herbalist, Nikimbre’ has spent several years as an instructor and working with organizations such as The American Herbalist Guild, HerbPharm, Banyan Botanicals, Northern California Women’s Herbal Symposium, and the Southern Oregon Land Conservancy. Her classes entail not only a rich reminder of the gifts plants and land have to offer, also the importance of building relations with land and plants.
